Our staff, who are highly skilled with a wide range of experience and working in a conducive environment, ensure that clients receive standard healthcare service. Services provided include 24-hour Emergency Services, General Out-Patient/Family Medicine clinics, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Urology, Child Health, Dental, Eye and Psychiatric Services, among others. Diagnostic services include a Medical laboratory, X-Ray with fluoroscopy, Electrocardiography (ECG), Ultrasonography (USG) and Computerized Tomography (CT) scan. Our main referral facility is the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, which is approximately 20 minutes ambulance drive from our hospital.

The University Hospital is a center for training and research and has been accredited for practical training of medical students, nurses, pharmacists, medical laboratory technologists and other essential allied health professionals. It is also accredited for post-graduate training in Family Medicine, General Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Our facility with the support of the University Management and our visionary Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Mrs.) Rita Dickson, is provided with the needed upgrade and amenities to ensure we live up to our mandate.
