The Director of University Health Services, Dr. Nana Kwame Ayisi-Boateng, who served as Training Coordinator for 9 years before his new role, acknowledged that this is the highest number of specialists produced by the hospital in a single year. He paid glowing tribute to his predecessor, Dr. Osei Kwaku Wusu-Ansah who provided opportunities for the doctors to pursue postgraduate training and spearheaded the accreditation of the hospital for training in Family Medicine, General Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

As Dr. Ayisi-Boateng congratulated the newly qualified specialists, he implored them to apply their knowledge, skills and expertise to train junior colleagues, serve the University community and improve the lives of their patients.
